Former Minister Mervyn Silva said that he will convene a special press conference at the Public Library on Monday morning.

He made this observation when he left the FCID yesterday, after arriving there to give a statement.

However, Silva refused to disclose any details of the press conference.

He maintained that the FCID should have been established earlier, so that politicians would have been reluctant to steal public money.
