Former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa’s wife Pushpa Rajapaksa and daughter Thejani have informed the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC) that they are unable to appear before it today since they were out of the country.
This is the second occasion that they were unable to report to the commission.
They had been asked to report to the commission on May 4 and 5, but informed that they were overseas.
