Avant-Garde Maritime Services Chairman Major (Rtd.) Nissanka Senadhipathy denied that he has any illegal off-shore accounts, even though his name appeared in the so called Panama Papers.
Releasing a statement through his lawyer Nishan Premathiratne, Senadhipathy said that if even a dollar is found in a Panama account as represented by the media and the social media, he would gladly donate the said sum of monies to the person who finds them.
Senadhipathi has requested the media to be extremely mindful in reporting information about himself or his company, since he has already been a victim of several frivolous and unsubstantiated allegations.
He also mentioned that allegations such as these should not be made without substantiated evidence.
