The Court of Appeal yesterday fixed the next day of the hearing of the writ petition filed by JVP Propaganda Seretary Vijitha Herath, urging investigations be carried out on former LTTE overseas leader Kumaran Pathmanathan alias KP to May 30.
The travel ban imposed on KP was extended till that day.
Court of Appeal Justice Preethy Padman Surasena directed the petitioner to inform court whether they wish to continue with the case, given that the AG had initiated investigations against KP.
The Attorney General had earlier this year furnished to the Court the progress reports on the investigation into KP's alleged involvement in the LTTE activities.
