President Maithripala Sirisena, during a short visit to New Delhi later this week, will hold a special discussion with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Government Information Department said.
President Sirisena will leave for London on May 11 to attend the Anti-Corruption Summit organized by the British government. He is scheduled to visit India on his return on May 13, on an invitation extended by the Indian Prime Minister.
India's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially invited the Sri Lankan President to take part in a Hindu religious ceremony in Ujjain district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, the Government Information Department also said.
