The fast food chain KFC has come under fire for selling a burger with worms inside.

A customer, Naushin Ashraff, said on Facebook that this purchase was made from the KFC outlet Wellawatte 

"This zinger burger was purchased by my son at KFC wellawatte. Note that there are worms inside the chicken fillet of the burger. Please be aware when buying from KFC, especially at the wellawatte branch". Ashraff said on Facebook, posting the photo above.

Ashraff also said that they informed of the matter to the KFC Wellawatte branch.

This was, however, not the first time the international food chain came under fire over te quality of its food products.
