An individual was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday for threatening the President through a Facebook video, the Police said.

The said individual, L. A. Sugath from Yakkala, was arrested when he had returned from Malaysia. He had been deported from that country for staying there without a visa.

He had posted a Facebook video threatening the President following the arrest of Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera, the General Secretary of the radical Buddhist organization Bodu Bala Sena.
