Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya today fixed the five corruption charges against former Minister Johnston Fernando for September 6.

Late last year, the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery and Corruption filed charges against Fernando on not declaring assets and liabilities in the years between 2010-2014. Five separate cases were filed for the five years.

Fernando, who is on bail over the cases, appeared in court today.
