Sri Lankan Test opener Kaushal Silva who was treated at a private hospital in Colombo after being struck in the head by a ball during training, was discharged earlier today.
Silva was struck on his head during a special training session the preliminary Sri Lankan squad underwent at the Pallekele international cricket stadium, aiming the upcoming England tour.
He was airlifted to Colombo following the accident.
The 29 year-old ebuted for Sri Lanka in 2011 and has represented the country in 24 Tests. His batting average is 31.90 in Tests
