An individual acting in a suspicious manner near former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's office in Battaramulla was detained today by the Talangama police.

The police took the individual into their custody following a request received from the security detail of the former President.

The police is questioning the individual.

Rajapaksa moved to this office in Battaramulla earlier this year.
