A woman who was abducted and taken in a three-wheeler has been reported of getting off the running vehicle in Thalgaswala, Nagoda, Galle, yesterday.

The woman has hired the taxi but she had gotten off when it had forcefully taken her 3 more kilometres, passing the given destination.

The 30-year old woman who was a resident of Thalgaswala is currently receiving for treatments at Nagoda hospital for minor injuries.

A CCTV camera installed in a restaurant had recorded the incident of woman getting off the taxi. Police has arrested a suspect following the CCTV footage.
