Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe said that the monthly allowance of Rs. 10,000 which was given to the state employees will be added to their basic salary in three stages from January 2016.

 

Wickremasinghe made this remark at the parliament, a short while ago.

 

Accordingly, Rs. 2000 will be added to the basic salary from January 2016 as the first stage of the process.
