A protest held in front of Vavuniya bus stand yesterday, marking the International Human Rights Day.

Protest was convened by several political parties and organizations including the Nava Sama Samaja Party and Committee for Investigation of Disappearance along with relatives of disappeared.

Protesters said that government had failed to find information regarding the disappeared after civil war. Protesters also demanded that government release political prisoners held in custody.
