The police Financial Crimes Investigations Division raided the D.A. Rajapaksa Museum in Weeraketiya today with officers of the Department of Valuation.

This raid was conducted as a part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged financial fraud in the construction of the museum, Police Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said.

The valuation officers carried out an estimation of the construction.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa declared open this museum in November 2014.
