Former President of the Federation of Self Employed and Colombo Municiple Council Member Mahinda Kahandagamage was arrested today by the Cinnamon Gardens Police.

He was arrested for the alleged theft of a cheque worth Rs. 50 000.

Kahandagamage had allegedly stolen the cheque which belonged to a lawyer and converted it to cash.
