Tamil National Alliance, the main Opposition party in Parliament, decided to support the budget in the vote at its Second Reading.

The TNA Parliamentary Group unanimously took this decision.

Meanwhile, the JVP decided to vote against the budget.

There are 16 TNA MPs and 6 of the JVP.
