Jewellery worth Rs.3.5 million, Rs 32,000 in cash and a mobile phone belonging to film and teledrama actress Sanoja Bibile was stolen last evening from her car, police said.

Bibile had arrived with her father and sister to pay her last respects to late actress Damitha Saluwadana and had parked her car near a funeral parlour in Boralesgamuwa.

Thieves had broken the glass shutters and made off with the valuables.

The Piliyandala Police are conducting investigations.
