The Narahenpita Police Crimes OIC, who was arrested on Friday while allegedly accepting a bribe, was remanded until Monday when he was produced before the courts yesterday.

He was arrested by the Bribery Commission for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 2.5 million from a doctor.

The arrest was made in the Kohuwela area.
