Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Dr. Rajitha Senaratne claimed that the opposition was gradually accepting the concept of national government and four MPs were ready to join government.

Speaking at an event in Galle yesterday, Senaratne pointed out that the two main parties in the country have created a new tradition in the country.

"Usually the opposition opposed everything. However, now we have joined in a national government. This is a novel concept," Senaratne said, adding that it takes time to study it.
