The Parliament was adjourned for ten minutes due to a tense situation regarding the circulation of two booklets of the budget proposals.

Several opposition MPs raised questions on the circulation of two versions of the budget proposals and asked as to which version contained the correct budget proposals.

However, Leader of the House Lakshman Kiriella refuted the allegation that two versions were circulated.
