Prices of electric cars, hybrids and several other models will increase due to the budget proposals, vehicle importers said.

Accordingly, the price of an electric car hiked is expected to be increased by Rs. 2.5 million and a hybrid vehicle by Rs 400,000. A mini cab will see a price hike of Rs 1 million and a Maruti car by Rs. 200,000. A three-wheeler will see a price hike of Rs. 100,000.
