Sri Lankans can now obtain live traffic data on Google Maps. 

Accordingly, the maps will use green color for where traffic is good and red color to show where traffic is bad.

Moreover, Google also shows construction zones on the maps.

To use the service one should visit Google Maps and hit the button at left and click to turn the traffic layer on.

The feature is active in many parts of the Colombo city and suburbs and several other parts in the island as of now.
