Sri Lanka have named uncapped batsman Udara Jayasundera in their 15-man squad for the Tests in New Zealand and announced squads for ODIs and T20s as well. Jeffrey Vandersay, who has played only T20s at the international level, was named in all three squads and Kithuruwan Vithanage was included for Tests and T20s, but not for ODIs. Top-order batsman Lahiru Thirimanne was left out of the Test squad, after missing out on the second Test against West Indies last month, but continued to be the vice-captain for ODIs.
Left-arm pacer Isuru Udana, who last played international cricket in July 2012, was picked in the T20 squad.
The tour starts on December 3 and comprises two Tests, five ODIs and two T20s until January 10.
