The Police Financial Crime Division (FCID) searched the Carlton Sports Network (CSN) in Battaramulla yesterday, Police media spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said.

He said that this search operation was conducted regarding the rewarding of broadcasting rights to CSN, violating the standard tender procedure.

The Kaduwela Magistrate Court issued a warrant to conduct the operation, ASP Gunasekara said.

Several documents, computer hard disk drives, and desktop computers were taken to FCID custody for further investigations.

Computer engineers with Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) assisted in this search operation.
