Anuradhapura Acting Magistrate Amarasena Hettige today ordered the Computer Emergency Readiness Team (CERT) to submit a detailed report on a video statement by Iron Ranasinghe alias 'SF Loku'.

Ranasinghe, the main suspect in the Wasantha Soyza murder, released a video statement to Facebook after the attack on a nightclub in Anuradhapura.

In this statement, Ranasinghe said that he had a personal grudge with Wasantha Soyza, the owner of the night club in Anuradhapura. However, he said that he wanted only to destroy the club, and not to murder Soyza.

Wasantha Soyza, a Guinness Record holding karate champion, was murdered on the night of October 24 by a group of over 20 people who attacked his club. Police arrested 38 people in connection with the murder. The alleged mastermind, 'SF Loku' was arrested on November 01.
