Eight ex-LTTE suspects detained under the Prevention of Terrorism Act were released on bail by Colombo Additional Magistrate Aruni Attygalle today.

They were released on two sureties of Rs. one million each. Furthermore, they were ordered to confirm their permanent addresses. They were further ordered to inform the court if there was any change in their permanent addresses.

They were also restricted from traveling abroad.

Their release brings the total number of released ex-LTTE suspects to 39.
