Former Indian Ambassador to US and former High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Nirupama Rao said that the November 13 Paris Attack is in the same genre as the November 26 (11/26) Mumbai attacks in 2008.

"13/11 in the same genre as 26/11 Mumbai. The bell tolls. Words fail. Terror has spawned a war of the worlds." she tweeted this morning.

Meanwhile, Indian National Congress Parliamentarian and former diplomat Shashi Tharoor pointed out that the terrorists did not have the courage to attack 'hard targets'.

"Terrorists struck soft targets: cafes, concert halls,places where ordinary people thronged. They don't have the courage to face soldiers" he said on Twitter.
