President Maithripala Sirisena said Pakistan and Sri Lanka have always maintained close, multifaceted and mutually supportive relations and thanked Islamabad for its unflinching support in their fight against terrorism.

He made these comments during discussions with Pakistan's Commerce Minister Khurram Dastagir Khan who called on him at the President’s Secretariat in Colombo, The Express Tribune said quoting the Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka.
