The funeral of the Convener of the National Movement for Good Governance and Chief Incumbent of Kotte Sri Naga Viharaya Maduluwawe Sobhitha Thera will be held on Thursday afternoon at the Parliament Grounds.

Sobitha Thera passed away early this morning in Singapore while undergoing medical treatment. He was flown to Singapore early this month to be treated for complications arising from a by-pass surgery.

His body will be flown back to Sri Lanka this evening.
