A house of former minister Jagath Balasuriya was robbed on November 03, the police said.

Accordingly, the former minister's son, parliamentarian Tharaka Balasuriya lives in the house and the robbers had taken gold worth of Rs. 2 million.

No one had been in the house when the incident happened.

The Kegalle Police are conducting further investigations on the incident.
