Heavy traffic was reported from Nugegoda as the Inter University Students' Federation marched towards Colombo from the Sri Jayawardenapura University.

The IUSF launched its protest to urge the government to satisfy several demands, including the safeguarding of free education.

Meanwhile the IUSF has also expressed its opposition to the recent attack on the HNDA students.
