Two individuals have been shot dead in Ranthotuwila, Uragaha earlier this morning, the police said.

Accordingly, they were riding a motorbike when the shots were fired at them. One of them was a garage owner and he was killed on the spot. The other was a worker of the same garage.

Moreover, the suspects who fired shots also came on a motorbike.

The police are conducting further investigations. Preliminary investigations suggested that the murder was carried out due to a personal dispute, police said.
