President Maithripala Srisena met Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on today, during his official visit to Thailand.

The Thai government said that President Srisena’s visit aims to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in areas of economics, politics, culture, religion, and tourism.

The President's visit coincides with the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Sri Lankan president arrived in Thailand on Sunday and will be leaving the country on November 4.
