A SriLankan Airlines flight landed in Mahinda Rajapaksa International Airport in Mattala this morning due to the misty conditions at Katunayake, airport sources said.

SriLankan flight UL-230, which took off from Kuwait City last evening (Kuwait time) was scheduled to land at Katunayake BIA at 6.15am. However, it was diverted to Mattala due to poor visibility.

The flight is expected to arrive in Katunayake in a short while.
