The police used 'minimum power' on the HNDA students yesterday (29) in a successful attempt to disperse a protest. However, certain actions by the police has generated severe criticism among the general public, especially among social media users. 

The vast majority of social media users vehemently criticize the way the police acted in dispersing the protest. 

They firmly said that this was not what they had expected from the 'good governance' government.Therefore, the government should take necessary steps to prevent such incidents from happening in the future, they stress.
