A Buddhist monk is currently engaging in a protest in front of Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth Relic) in Kandy.

Accordingly, Akarawatte Sudhamma thera is protesting against Buddha Sasana Ministry.

The Thera says that the ministry has prohibited religious activities of his temple and the Sri Sudhamma Dhamma School in Panduwasnuwara, based on a false complaint.
