Heavy traffic is reported on the Galle Road near the US Embassy, Colombo 3, due to a protest by the Frontline Socialist Party.

The FLSP is protesting against the US economic blockade imposed on Cuba and the "Genocide in Syria".

The protest started at mid-day and has blocked the road, causing heavy traffic.
