The Maxwell Paranagama Report was tabled at the Parliament recently by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The report disputed the UN estimate of 40,000 civilian deaths in the final stages of the war.

However, the report stated that the allegations of war crimes was credible.
