The all-party conference on the UNHRC Resolution on Sri Lanka will be convened this afternoon at the Presidential Secretariat under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena at 5.00pm.

The President has invited 21 political parties for the conference, including the UNP, the TNA and the JVP.

Prof. Tissa Vitharana, Chairman of the former All-Party Conference convened during the Rajapaksa government has also been invited.

The conference is expected to discuss the future course of action regarding the resolution.
