Several state ministers have reportedly decided to resign from the ministerial portfolios as the government is yet to finalize subjects and functions of ministries they have appointed.

The ministers pointed out that although two months have passed since their swearing-in, the government was still unable to assign them to related subjects and functions of the given ministries.The government even did not allocate funds for the ministries yet, they asserted.

Therefore, they have failed to serve the general public which voted for them in the election, the ministers added.

Hence, the ministers told that they came to the decision that it would be better if they could resign from ministerial posts and act as backbench MPs.
