UPFA MP and former Minister Janaka Bandara Tennakoon, who was recently arrested on an alleged murder, was remanded further till November 3 by the Matale Magistrate yesterday.
Tennakoon did not appear at the courts yesterday due to ill health and his lawyers represented him.
The Magistrate ordered Tennakoon to be produced before the courts on November 3 along with a medical report on his condition.
Janaka Bandara Tennakoon was arrested on October 6 on an alleged murder incident, which took place in 1999.
