Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe met with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong yesterday (16) and discussed further means of promoting bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The Prime Minister also met with several key Singaporean Ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister for Home Affairs and Law K. Shanmugam, Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Trade and Industry S. Iswaran and Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister of Development Strategies and International TradeMalik Samarawickrema, Secretary to the Prime Minister Saman Ekanayake, Governor of the Central Bank Arjuna Mahendran, High Commissioner-Designate of Sri Lanka to Singapore Nimal Weeraratne and Acting High Commissioner Wishwanath Aponsu.
