Parliamentary sessions will be telecast live from today on Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation on an experimental basis.

Live telecast will be carried out from 1.00pm to 3.00pm today and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Fridays.

This decision was taken at the Consultative Committee on Parliamentary Affairs yesterday.

If proven successful, the telecast will continue on a permanent basis, reports said.
