Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya ordered UPFA MP Janaka Bandara Tennakoon to be remanded until October 20.

The Magistrate gave this order after inspecting Tennakoon at the private hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

Tennakoon was arrested yesterday by the CID regarding a murder incident which took place in 1999. He was undergoing treatment at the hospital at the time of the arrest.
