Poland today expressed its support for Sri Lanka's application for European Union's Generalised System of Preferences (GSP+).

This was revealed when the Polish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Leszek Soczewica called on his Sri Lankan counterpart Dr. Harsha de Silva this evening in Colombo.

Sri Lanka and Poland signed two bilateral agreements, one on cooperation in tourism and the other on avoidance of double taxation.
