Sri Lanka have added pace bowler Lahiru Gamage to their squad for the second and final Test against Pakistan as cover for the injured Shaminda Eranga.
Sri Lanka won the opening Test in Galle by seven wickets and the second Test, which begins tomorrow (14th August) will be Mahela Jayawardene's final Test before he retires from the longest format of the game.
Eranga's injury means he will miss the match, which will be played at Jayawardene's home ground of the Sinhalese Sports Club ground.
Sri Lanka were already missing Eranga's fellow quick bowler Suranga Lakmal as well as Nuwan Pradeep through injury but can select from Dhammika Prasad, Chanaka Welagedara as well as the uncapped left-armer Binusha Fernando and now Gamage.
Gamage has yet to play international cricket but has played 43 first-class matches, taking 93 wickets at an average of 33.58.
He recently toured England and Ireland with the Sri Lanka A team, taking 12 wickets in eight one-day games, including the Sri Lankans' final game two days ago.
Sri Lanka Test squad: Angelo Mathews (captain), Niroshan Dickwella, Binura Fernando, Lahiru Gamage, Rangana Herath, Mahela Jayawardene, Dimuth Karunaratne, Dilruwan Perera, Dhammika Prasad, Kumar Sangakkara, Kaushal Silva, Upul Tharanga, Lahiru Thirimanne, Kithuruwan Vithanage, Chanaka Welagedara
