Arsenal are ready to hijack Everton's raid for Lyon star Rachid Ghezzal, according to reports.
The Sun claim the forward’s representatives have now been in touch with the Gunners to discuss a switch to the Emirates.
Ghezzal is in the last few months of his current deal in France and could leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the current campaign.
The Toffees had agreed a £12m deal for the 24-year-old last summer.
David De Gea and Sergio Romero will not be leaving Manchester United, according to Jose Mourinho.
He said: “I can say is that I expect both to stay because I think both are equally important.
“I cannot have a better goalkeeper than David.
“I cannot have a better replacement than Sergio. I cannot have a better professional than Sergio.
“I want them both to stay. So if there is something true in relation to Boca, I will try to stop it because I want Sergio to stay.”
Chinese outfit club Tianjin Quanjian plan to sign Leeds striker Chris Wood after being snubbed by Chelsea forward Diego Costa.
The Blues ace emerged as a target earlier this month but has now decided to stay at Stamford Bridge.
The Chinese Super League side will turn to the Leeds star instead, according to ESPN.
Wood has scored 17 goals in the Championship this season, helping Garry Monk's side get into the playoff spots.
