Singapore defeated Sri Lanka with resulting the scoreboard as 50-40 today. 

Nirma Samarasinghe Arachchige scored highest for Sri Lanka (19 points).

The 2016 FIBA Asia Under-18 Championship for Women is the qualifying tournament for FIBA Asia at the 2017 FIBA Under-19 World Championship for Women. 

The tournament, which is also the 23rd edition of the biennial competition, is taking place in Bangkok, Thailand.

Sri Lanka playes under Level II category. Sri Lankan team already competed with Indonesia and Hong Kong. 

China, Japan,South Korea and Thailand advanced to final round.

Sri Lankan team will be competing against Malaysia tomorrow. On 17th they will be facing Kazakhstan team.
