India will meet Pakistan in the World T20 Men's World Cup on March 19, 2016, at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala.
This was revealed a short while ago at the official launching ceremony in Mumbai.
The tournament, hosted by India, will begin on March 8 with the Qualifying Round. The Second Round will begin on March 15 when India takes on New Zealand at Nagpur. The Semi-finals will be held on March 30 in Delhi and March 31 in Mumbai. The final will be worked out at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on April 3.
Sixteen teams take place in the world cup. Sri Lanka are the defending World T20 Men's Champions. Sri Lanka is in Group 1 with West Indies, England, South Africa and the Champions of the Qualifying Group B. Sri Lanka's first game will be on March 17 against the champions of Qualifying Group B at Kolkata.
