Frontline Socialist Party leader and Central Commottee Member Kumar Gunaratnam alias 'Kumar Mahattaya' stated that even the Tamil National Alliance has forgotten the national question.

Speaking at a press conference yesterday several hours after his return to the island, Gunaratnam said that it is his party’s belief that there is a racial oppression of the minorities in this country.

He added that the TNA and parties like the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress have joined the Maithripala Sirisena camp regardless of the fact that the Jathika Hela Urumaya is a key player in this alliance. The TNA which had always demanded 13+ and various other measures have now focused on democracy only.

Even though TNA thinks democracy and the national question are two things, the FLSP believes that they are the same, Gunaratnam added.
